- Starting September 1, 2011 the State of Virginia is increasing the Rights of Way Tax from 0.76 to 0.83. You will see this increase on your September statement - 2011-07-28
- On October 1, 2011 we will be replacing WXLV TV channel 45 (cable channel 18) with MeTV. We are having to remove WXLV due to the ABC Broadcasting Company giving Exclusivity to WSET Channel 13 for this area. MeTV is the Memorable Entertainment Television Network and airs vintage programming. See metvnetwork.com for more details. - 2011-07-28
- Before you dig in or around your yard, CALL 811 for Miss Utility. After the call is made, the local utilities will come out and mark where all the underground cables & pipes are located so that you can avoid hitting them. Failure to call first can lead to heavy fines from the state and repair costs to the utilities. You can also be injured or killed if you dig into electric cables or gas lines.
